What is the use of wave scissors in the Aquascaping hobby?
It is used just like any other scissors in the hobby but has one big benefit, i.e. it can be used to trim carpets easily. The shape of these scissors means you do not need to go all the way to the bottom of the tank to trim your carpet. This will greatly reduce your uprooting of any nearby plants or the carpet itself. also since your hand will be about the carpet and can be kept more horizontal, it is easier to cut straight. With straight scissors, you will have to cut at an angle if you do not want to go near the carpet and potentially disturb it.
